The Clayton Police Department will be moving on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 201 S. Barbour Street to a temporary headquarters at 9933 Hwy 70W Business. All telephone numbers and email contacts will remain unchanged.
Our plan is to close for business on Friday evening, July 23rd on Barbour Street and reopen for business on Monday morning, July 26th on Hwy 70. We will remain at the temporary headquarters for approximately 12 to 18 months until the new downtown station is completed at our permanent site.
Both before and after the relocation, the Police Department business office will remain open during normal hours (8:00 am until 6:00 pm – closed on weekends and holidays). However, there may be some reduced business services on Friday, July 23rd, as the telephones and computer systems are relocated by Information Technology personnel.
Of course, 24/7 patrol operations and 9-1-1 telephone services will continue as always, without interruption.
